The DCS 2500 GERBERcutter®-system is a high-speed-cutting-system in order to cut single-plies (with some materials low-plies too). The DCS2500 was developed to cut a very wide variety of different materials and fabrics. Cutting accuracy within 1/100mm (2/5000 of an inch) at a speed up to 68m/min (223ft / min.) brings the required accuracy for industrial production of today. The DCS2500 cuts almost all materials e.g. thin and thick fabrics, fabric mixtures, leather, technical textiles (e.g. airbags) and most other rolled goods which are used in the furniture, apparel, automotive, aerospace industry and all other industries.

The cutter offered here has a table length of 22m (72ft.) with exact 21m (69ft.) cutting area and a table width of 2m (80in.) with a cutting width of 1,50m (59in.). The machine can be shortened, when desired, according to the modular building method and thus can be adapted to your conditions.

Working in the so-called "split-table"-mode gives outstanding flexibility to your cutting room.

You can spread out the material from both ends of the table and cut one half of the table while you remove cutted parts from the other half. Processing of different materials, patterns and colors can realized with the "op-stop"-functionality and the "cut on different sides"-feature.

You can mount different tools in three toolholders. Default tools are a 28mm (1.1in.) round blade and a notcher. In addition to the three toolholders you can use a pen, which is available during the entire working process. Other tools are available (e.g. round blade with bigger diameter).

The machine offered here contains a UV-spray-unit, which you can use e.g. for spraying seam lines or for spraying markings with a liquid, which is reflecting under UV-light either in blue or in green. Changes of tools for different processing steps belong thus to the past.

The DCS2500 offers to you a reliable, accurat and long-term-stable cutting process for an economic price.

This cutting system is compatible with the OptiTex® -CAD/CAM-system and with most other CAD-systems (e.g. DXF-files).

Scope of supply is a PC, the so-called "base-module-" and the "tool-path-module-"software, both Windows®-applications. The base-module is in charge of the complete control of the machine. The tool-path-module gives you the possibility on the production floor e.g. to change the sequence of parts how they are cutted (necessary when the material has a different direction-line). This software makes it easy for you, to embed the machine in your existing computer-environment.

Features:

Software runs under Windows® and contains the "base-module" to control the machine and the "tool-path-module" for subsequent change of the cutting contoures.
Simultaneous working with up to three mounted tools and a pen (tools can be e.g. round blade, notcher, special knives).
UV-spray-unit in order to spray seam-lines or markings. With suppy-containment for UV-liquid.
The used round blades are not cost-intensively and easy to change.
Plotting can be done with the pen.
Regulated compressed-air-system permits finest regulation of the cutting-pressure and the pen-pressure.
Split-table-mode in order to work from both sides. Cutting takes place on one half of the table, during removing cutted partes from the other half.
Cutting-system contains a vacuum-system with two strong pumps or blowers. The vacuum-systems fixes your material over an air-permeable table surface with strong suction.
Automatic queue-processing with contour-conversion-features.
Possibility to digitize contures with the machine.
Disassembly of the machine and assembly of the cutter in your factory is included in the purchase price (within the European Union, Switzerland and Norway). You are in charge of electrical connections and compressd-air-connections in your factory up to the machine. Also you are responsible for costs of transport, transport-insuranse and possible customs duties (outside the European Union).

On all prices we charge in addition the german VAT.

For the European-Union:
Customers with VAT-ID-number will get invoices without VAT.
